The email address entered at the end of the diagnosis, and whether or not you wish to receive news emails - Information collected automatically when you use the Site
Date and time of access, pages viewed, referrer, browser and device type, OS, IP address, and identifiers such as cookies - Information about your visits to the Site
Which advertisement or website brought you to the Site (advertising parameters and the domain of the referring website), the first page you opened on each visit (diagnosis result pages are recorded without the ID used to open the result), and the number, dates, and times of your visits (stored in your browser's local storage, and sent to the Company only together with your diagnosis result when you finish a diagnosis; please see "5. Storage in Your Browser") - Survey responses on the result page (optional)
Your answer to “Did it feel like we put your true feelings into words?” on the diagnosis result page and any comments you write. These are stored linked to your diagnosis result
3. Purposes of Use
We use the information we collect within the scope of the following purposes. If we use it beyond the scope of these purposes, we will obtain your consent in advance.
- To determine and display diagnosis results, and to issue result pages
- To send diagnosis results by email to those who have entered their email address
- To send news from the 36.5° editorial team, such as new columns, diagnosis updates, and information about services operated by us such as Peony, to those who have chosen to receive news emails
- To prevent improper use, such as sending a large number of submissions in a short time (we limit the number of submissions per IP address and per email address)
- To create statistical data processed so that individuals cannot be identified, and to use it to improve the Site and develop new services
- To understand how the Site is used (access analytics), to optimize the delivery of advertising, and to measure the effectiveness of advertising (please see "6. Cookies and External Transmission")
- To understand which advertisements and websites brought visitors to the Site and led them to take the diagnosis, and to analyze the effectiveness of advertising and promotion (information about your visits to the Site)
- To respond to inquiries and to comply with laws and regulations
- To check and improve the accuracy of the diagnosis (survey responses)
4. Handling of Diagnosis Answers
Recognizing that diagnosis answers and results concern your inner life, we handle them as follows.
- We never publish the individual content of your answers or provide it to third parties without your consent.
- A diagnosis result page can only be opened by people who know its URL. We prevent result pages from appearing in search engines, and prevent the URL from being passed on to other sites when you move to them. Please be careful about whom you share your result URL with.
- The only information sent externally for access analytics and for measuring advertising effectiveness is that a page was viewed and the fact that a diagnosis was started or completed (including the type of diagnosis and whether you chose to receive the result by email) or a result was shared (including where it was shared). We do not send your answers, your diagnosis result (type), or your email address. For diagnosis result pages, we send the page URL with the result ID (the ID used to open the result) hidden. The advertising measurement tag (Meta Pixel) does not run on diagnosis result pages.
- When we use information for statistics and analysis, we do so after processing it so that individuals cannot be identified.
- Survey comments are used only to improve the diagnosis and are never made public or provided to third parties. Please do not write information that could identify you, such as your name or contact details, in the comment field. Comment text is deleted after a set period, and only the selected answer (yes, no, etc.) is kept.
5. Storage in Your Browser
For ease of use and to analyze the effectiveness of advertising and promotion, the Site stores the following information in the browser of the device you are using.
- Answers in progress: Stored for 2 weeks after your last answer so that you can resume partway through (local storage). Your email address is not stored.
- The number of the most recently displayed diagnosis result: Used to display the result page, and deleted when you close the tab (session storage).
- Display language: When you switch languages, that language is stored for 1 year (cookie).
- A marker that the opening has been shown: Used so that the opening is not shown again in the same tab, and deleted when you close the tab (session storage).
- Information about your visits to the Site: Which advertisement or website brought you to the Site (advertising parameters and the domain of the referring website), the first page you opened on each visit, and the number, dates, and times of your visits (local storage). Only the domain of the referrer is stored, not the address of the referring page. Diagnosis result pages are stored without the ID used to open the result. If more than 90 days have passed since your last visit to the Site, this information is deleted the next time you open the Site.
- Survey completion marker: Saved so that the survey for the same diagnosis result is not shown twice on the same device (local storage). Your answers are not saved.
Information about your visits to the Site is sent to the Company only together with your diagnosis result when you finish a diagnosis (if the result could not be saved right away due to maintenance, it is sent when the result is saved after the Site is back). Other information is not sent to the Company as a result of this storage. None of this information is sent to outside businesses.
In addition, Google Analytics and Meta Pixel (see "6. Cookies and External Transmission") store cookies under the Site's domain (such as _ga, those beginning with _ga_, and _fbp).
